Cannot recommend Sea Change Villas enough. Steph was great to deal with before our holiday had started – lots of helpful pre-arrival info sent though beforehand. She arranged transfers to… read more and from the airport for us too which was fantastic. Great location and lovely, clean, comfortable and well appointed accommodation – we stayed in one of the 2/3 bedroom 2 bathroom garden view villas with it’s own private pool and really appreciated the space, privacy and the daily housekeeping. Good location, would recommend getting your own vehicle. Great spot for snorkeling. Equipment available: bikes, paddle board, kayaks and snorkeling gear. BBQ and laundry available.… read more The host Stephanie was approachable, knowledgeable and very helpful. On arrival the complimentary food and alcohol in the fridge was most appreciated. Everything about the beach front villa was beautiful. The garden villa was clean and spacious but the only observation was that the bottom level with games room and 1 bedroom was musty: could be because of Covid lockdowns. We would have preferred a toilet or bathroom on that level too. Everything else was perfect and we would definitely stay again!

This review is very late, apologies. I set up an account just so I could write this review. My parents and my husband and I were fortunate enough to stay… read more at this place just before the lockdown on separate occasions. Loved it, just loved it.
We hired a red convertible and zipped around everywhere. Loved the stainless steel quality kitchen equipment, we prepared fresh fish (fish shop next to airport) and fresh fruit (markets and street vendors) every day. It was just a really wonderful time. Some of the reviews mentioned traffic noise, we didn’t hear anything, not sure how this is even an issue. You do however hear the waves crashing at night which is so peaceful and relaxing. We had a muddy outlook but the last day it all washed away revealing beautiful sands. The location is great, nice and peaceful, especially if you have a car. Drive up the road and you’ve got the Fruits of Rarotonga a lovely snorkelling spot. Drive the other way up the road (if you stand on the balcony and look to your right) is a passage and people do snorkelling with turtles there – so magical.
They give you some complementary wifi and breakfast supplies. (My parents didn’t know about the free wifi which is a shame as they aren’t very computer literate and I had warned them before they went that there wouldn’t be wifi based on other reviews) – this has obviously now changed. Loved eating breakfast and dinners on the balcony out the back – soooooooooooooooooo beautiful – and so many great eating options around the island in close driving proximity to the villas.
Beverley, Stephanie and Craig were great. We are pretty sure we were one of the last Aussies off the island before the borders closed and Craig even offered for us to take one of the pillows in case of a long layover in Auckland. We didn’t, but I should’ve as those pillows were lovely haha. Hope to come back one day. Thank you guys for a lovely holiday, we were lucky to get it in before lockdown 🙂 Give Rufus a cuddle for me.
